It is with great sadness to report that BVFF member Mike McLean has passed.  Mike has been a member since 2014, and was an incredible contributor, sharing his knowledge and passion for accessing and fishing the high mountain lakes of Idaho, particularly those near his home area of McCall.  He has made several presentations at BVFF meetings and the Western Idaho Fly Fishing Expo.

In an early season solo trip to Duck Valley with a new camper, Mike was found at Lake Billy Shaw, where he had apparently stopped to rest on shore, with his float tube nearby.

Mike was an avid outdoor enthusiast his entire life, and has departed much too soon.  This post will be updated as more information becomes available.
