Boise Valley Fly Fishers lead fishing outings to local and nearby fishing destinations during the year, during warmer months.  Outings are hosted by club members who suggest and organize the destination.  Four events during the year are recurring annual events.

Outings are intended as a social shared experience.  Although attendees will learn much about fly fishing, new fishing locations, and meet new angling colleagues, BVFF is NOT a guide service (and cannot be by law).

• Outings are coordinated and scheduled by the Outings Committee.  Each outing has a sponsor who plans and coordinates the location and details of the outing.
• Outings can be simple or complicated, as determined by the Outing Sponsor.  Outing sponsorship maybe as simple as determining a destination, with information on the fishing and how to get there, when to meet.  Some outing sponsors  may organize coordinating a potluck meal, or group transportation needs.
• Outing Sponsors must be a BVFF member in good standing.  A BVFF sanctioned outing may limit or restrict attendance, but must be made available to all BVFF members to register.
