Beatty's Tip Up Flies
This week, we’ll start a series of flies we’ll call Throw-Back Flies; they are based on John Kreft’s throwback Thursday flies featured often in his weekly BLOG from his website (www.riverkeeperflies.com). The flies we’ll share are from our book on tying Humpies, but we’ll demonstrate some we’ve not shared before and of course an easy version for those of you who don’t want to mess with hair.
Our friend Michael Peratis will join us for the WEEKLY TIP in which he and Al will demonstrate several ways to form a split thread loop. Our thanks to Barry Webster for inspiration on the subject. The Myster Fly Report will continue with information provided by Jim Ferguson. Following that we’ll open the spotlight/mic to audience members to SHARE with everyone.
