Mike Kelly’s Favorite Damsel Nymphs
This week, we have Mike Kelly from LaVista, Nebraska, who will give us a few facts about damselfly nymphs and then demonstrate some of his favorite patterns. He has been tying flies for about 39 years and is the Assistant Program Lead for Project Healing Waters in Omaha, where he does weekly fly pattern demonstrations and teaches fly tying. Tonight, he will give us a few facts about damselfly nymphs and then demonstrate some of his current favorites.
In the WEEKLY TIP, Mike will share some ideas for weighting a fly. The Mystery Spinner Fly Project report: We’ll continue the discussion and progress in learning to tie this challenging pattern.
