The Beattys have been working on a different system of finishing off flies or parts of flies that produce a much cleaner profile to the finished pattern and should help anyone wanting to improve the appearance of their flies for personal reasons or as part of an inspection for a contest or awards program. It’s very simple and not new but an assembly of techniques demonstrated to the two over the last 30+ years.
