The Beattys tying a couple of great trout flies. Gretchen will start with a Spruce Fly Streamer then Al will follow with a Spruce Fly Dry. Gretchen’s pattern will feature a “fanned” squirrel wing in place of the normal badger hackle wings. Al’s version of the “Dry” will feature a not before seen material (in dry fly wings, anyway) that might open a whole new world to some of you. What is it? Join us on Friday to find out!
