The Cascade US Forest Service is looking for help doing some fish electroshocking and fish counts on small streams in the Cascade Area. Shocking is done with backpack electroshock devices and volunteers help net and measure what is found.
Volunteers need to be able to hike in 2 miles on an old logging road. Bring waders or hippers and be prepared for Fall weather. At the request of the USFS, registration is limited to 2 people per day.
Volunteers be prepared to wade in creeks. Hip boots or wading pants work great. Bring your own lunch and water.
