BOISE RIVER SIDE CHANNEL MAINTENANCE
High spring flows have reduced inflows into our Spawning Side Channel. We want to ensure that brown trout have adequate flows to spawn this Fall and that the trout fry have good woody cover to hide in.
WHAT: Clear debris from entry of BVFF's Side Channel and improve Woody Cover
WHEN: Saturday, August 5th. 8AM - 11am
BRING: Crowbar; Heavy Duty Shovel; Garden Rake (hard tines); Work Gloves
Come in work clothes and shoes that can get wet. Water is warm so waders are not required. Bring work gloves. Meet at Troy's House and then walk to the site. Map below.
