Join us to improve your nymphing skills and chase Mr. Whitefish. Participants are encouraged, but not required, to join the BVFF Virtual Whitefish Derby. Make sure your Idaho Fishing License is up to date!
The clinic will review different nymphing techniques, including standard indicators, drop-shot and tight-line/euro. We will go over leader construction, indicators, sighters, and dropper-styles. There will be some hands-on coaching on different nymphing techniques available. For more information on chasing Mr. Whitey, see our Education Blog
We are meeting up at the Diane Moore Nature Center, in the parking lot BELOW the HWY-21 bridge (about 1 mile from Lucky Peak). See you on the water! (MAP BELOW)
Check with your local fly shop, for "euro-nymphs". Some starting suggestions are below:
