MEET AT TROY'S HOUSE: 8940 W. Duck Lake Drive.
BVFF is refreshing the gravel in our side channel in Garden City. We are coordinating with Boise Flood District #10 who has again graciously volunteered to help move the gravel into the river while they are in the area doing their annual winter maintenance. BVFF Volunteers are needed to help do greenbelt traffic control and rake-out the gravel in the river.
For more information on the gravel refresh, see our Conservation Blog .
We are raising money for the gravel augmentation. $25 buys enough gravel for one trout redd. If you are interested in sponsoring a trout redd, please buy a Greenback at our BVFF Online Store.
The current date is looking like Wed Feb 15th, but the exact date and time may change by a day or two, depending on conditions.
Please register if you are interested and can help with this project. We are collecting names of interested volunteers ONLY at this time. When a firm date has been established, you will be contacted for confirmation. BRING: Gloves Waders Tools: Shovel, Garden Rake, Push Broom
