March Outing: Meet-up on the Boise 2023 Update

Outing Type:

“Meet-up.”

Start as a group, go fishing and then meet-up to celebrate a day on the Boise.

If you have always wanted to fish the Boise, intown, this is a great chance to learn.

Be fishing friend and lead a group to location on the Boise. Share your knowledge and skills and meet new members and friends.

Meet at Willow Lane Athletic  Complex, 4623 Willow Ln, 83703 . At the boat ramp on the river.

At 09:00AM in the at the boat ramp. There will be a demonstration on how to set up a Nymphing rig to successfully fish the Boise River in town.

At 10:00 we will split into groups.

Attendees are welcome to split up and spread out on the river as they wish. Experienced anglers are encouraged to “Team Up” with those who are less experienced with the hopes of helping them to be more successful, and confident on the water.

The river is currently wadable. We always recommend waders, a wader belt and wading stick.
