BT’s Fly Tying Friday: Dutch Baughman At The Vise
Dutch Baughman (pronounced Bockman) began his fly-tying journey in 1957. Having no supplies he tied his first fly on an old rusty hook, thread from Momma’s sewing basket, a feather found on the ground, and hair cut from his dog. The fly was magnificent. He will continue tying “magnificent flies by demonstrating a body and hackle style developed in the early part of the 20th century. Join us for a look at history and a fun-to-tie pattern. The WEEKLY TIP will include a further look at one of our “discovery flies” from last week. Which fly is it? Join us to find out and maybe discover a whole fly-tying concept!
Al Beatty is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
