BT’s Fly Tying Friday: Black Dose with Jim Ferguson
Jim will demonstrate how to apply the wishbone/Defeo preparation of hackle to wing salmon and steelhead flies. It is the method explored by Poul Jorgensen to develop what he called a “stack wing” style. In the WEEKLY TIP, while Gretchen is away Al will move away from the dry fly hackle footprint and explore other methods of using feathers. Tune in to learn how ALL of you can tie a real fish-catching wet fly in just two minutes!
