Attention anglers!! You are invited to participate further in the review of new fishing regulations and the statewide fisheries management plan. A 1st round of public involvement and staff/commission review was completed earlier this summer. Accordingly, new rules proposals and changes in management direction were drafted. The public is invited to comment on these draft proposals before the commission votes to adopt or reject rules proposal/changes at their November meeting.

Additionally, staff will be hosting an open house at which you can learn about proposals/changes, discuss, and comment in person. The Southwest Region’s open house will occur:
