Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife Science from Oregon State University in 2005. Graduated with a Masters of Science in Zoology and Physiology in 2009. Worked for Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (2000-2001 & 2003), U. S. Geological Survey (2002 & 2009-2010), Oregon State University (2004), Idaho Fish and Game (2005), Wyoming Game and Fish (2006), Wyoming Coop Research Unit/University of Wyoming (2006-2009), and Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (2010-present). I have studied a variety of fishes from suckers to salmonids during my career and I enjoy getting out and sharing information about the fisheries I manage.
