PLEASE REGISTER TO RECEIVE ANY UPDATE INFORMATION
Boise Valley Fly Fishers will join the Indianhead Fly Fishers club for a litter cleanup on the Lower Owyhee River in Oregon on Saturday, March 26, 2022. If you can help, please register for the event. Feel free to invite a guest. We will meet at the BLM Watchable Wildlife Area (See map link below) at 9:00 AM and finish by 3PM. Bring your fishing rod (and Oregon license) and plan to fish the Owyhee afterwards. BWO, Midges are expected to hatch and the Skwalas might be starting! Volunteers are asked to bring their own gloves and good sturdy footwear is highly recommended. It can be helpful for some people to wear waders to get trash out of the river, but they are not needed to get to most trash. Due to COVID, social distancing will be encouraged. Please bring your own food and beverages for this event. It is important to stay hydrated, so please bring a water bottle. Plan at least an hour and a half to get to the Owyhee. We are meeting at the Wildlife Viewing Area about a mile below Snively Hot Springs Link to Google Map of Wildlife Viewing Area
